Are the people who make your clothes paid enough to live on?
Garment workers have been paid poverty wage for decades and most do not have access to social protection. During the pandemic these low wages were cut further and severance compensation wasn't paid in full, if at all. Now brands are thriving again but for workers the crisis is still not over. Living wages will remain a priority for the Clean Clothes Campaign but we now call upon brands to ensure workers are being paid their due wages and owed severance.
